Frequently asked questions

How do I obtain details or update a shareholder’s account if I have power of attorney or am an executor of an estate?

Proof of the appointment is required. If you, or a company, have been authorised to either act or inquire on the behalf of the power of attorney or executor, proof is required. Please provide a copy of documentation to Shareholder Services with your inquiry.

What should I do if I’ve lost my share certificate or need to obtain a copy?

Original share certificates are no longer required to transfer or sell shares — the shareholder statement is proof of ownership. Contact Shareholder Services to request a copy of your shareholder statement if you require it. Certificates are only provided upon request.

How can I consolidate or split my share certificates?

Contact Shareholder Services to submit a request to consolidate or split share certificates.
